Add your own cursors or choose from 21 different cursor.
v1.1 for cursors (200kb download) and v1.6 (old) for only boot animations

  • How it works?
Changing boot animation
Changing boot animation is very easy, we just copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media/boot animation.zip
Compression level must be store.
And we change permissions if it, if not you will get AOSP animation.
Run the following command with alt+f1 terminal
chmod 644 /system/media/*.zip

Patching framework-res.apk to change cursors
We make a copy of /system/framework/framework-res.apk
Then I load my cursor png files,
After that we patch the framework-res.apk with our cursor files using 7-zip
Then we copy the patched framework back to /system/framework/framework-res.apk, and change permissions to 644
Then we restart the zygote, to load the new cursor, with stop; start command.

I hope you all enjoy the new cursors, they will give a gaming like feel to all Android x86 distros.

I cant get the UHD cursor and I cant find the Boot Animation Option.Plz Help.

HUD cursor is named as evolution.
Boot animations were removed in new version to make it lightweight, but you can download old version to get them https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ANrXQ3kzwoC2gebTji7_d4e6mQ_Sdc8e/view?usp=sharing

It works, but as it changed my cursor, it removed the ability to resize windows on Phoenix OS darkmatter. I then tried to restore the backup I had made earlier within the extension. Now my cursor style is back to exo 4.7, but still lost the feauture to resize any apps/windows. Please advice me on how to revert back to the original cursor

Use install from iso option of gearlock > extra misc functions. it will restore back whole /system from the iso, your data is not lost, let me know if it worked in Discussion section, thanks

When I apply a cursor and reboot the system and keep loading pheonix dark matter logo.pls fix it

can anyone tell me how to change the gearlock terminal background like the screenshots given in this thread?

This is windows terminal, but you can try to do same in Android
Install a terminal for android in which you can set image as background
Then download my dialog rc file to make gearlock dialogs background transparent from here https://drive.google.com/file/d/19mt8B8fF-Q8HCDyvmXEdGc_Mv4b6aIOa/view?usp=sharing
Then you need to recompile gearlock from source replacing the dialogrc file in https://github.com/axonasif/gearlock/tree/main/etc
and then launch gearlock from the custom terminal

The extension it self opens but when i try to change the cursor it just does not work and makes my pc load a very liong time.i am using blissOS 11.13
