Software Android-x86 Single Boot 1

Android-x86 ISO
Compatible With
Any Distro
Install Android-x86 as your only operating system. I have developed a boot screen and loader for Android-x86. It comes with a maintenance iso that is booted from the hard drive so you can mount the hard drive and edit your partition. To install make a bootable USB drive with Linux Mint. Then boot it on a computer you want to install Android-x86 on and load G-Parted then format sda2 to ext4 format. Then go to terminal and mount your hard drive with this command: "sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt" . Make 3 directories /Android-x86 /cdrom /system in /mnt Then install android to Android-x86 you need to have the iso extracted on an external hard drive before. Don't forget to install gearlock to the data folder. Next copy Linux Mint in the Hard_drive.zip to the cdrom folder . Go back to terminal and issue this command: "sudo umount /mnt" Then issue this command: "sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt" Next delete the contents of the /mnt folder then copy the contents of the EFI_Partition.zip to /mnt Once you have completed your install and confident in your system. I recommend to make a backup of your system.img and save it to /system. Most problems are when the system.img goes bad. For custom resolutions you can edit the android.cfg the default is 1080. The Surface Pro is supported with touchscreen drivers for the menu entry. Just tap on the keyboard icon only if you have your keyboard disconnected and you will see a touchscreen keyboard so you can select boot entries or modify the kernel command line. Reboot and you will see a new boot screen. Cheers!
