Help How do I make Ram align with true amount?

My computer has 8 gb or ram, but for some reason whenever I install pos, it is set at 4 gb of ram... Is it possible to correct this to enable full usage of my ram available? And if so, how? Thanks, you guys are really great at this stuff, I'm just a teacher who thinks pos is the best classroom tool.

I got no idea about your issue. Maybe @HMTheBoy154 and @Electrikjesus can help.
You could try blissOS in live mode to see if that makes a difference.

You can try upgrading kernel, and also use jaxparrows extension to create swap ram.
