Windows 10 LTSC (The best Windows 10 version ever!)

Before I talk about Windows 10 LTSC here's a few things you might wanna know about :-

6ZX4Osa.png

1.What is windows 10 bloatware?

Windows PC's start off slower than they should be, clogged with unnecessary preloaded software known as bloatware. Programs such as candy crush soda saga, groove music, movies & tv etc are preinstalled. These apps run in the background and slow down computers and degrade performance a lot without users knowing it. Even if you have a look at your start menu in Windows 10 you'll notice a lot of apps which are complete crap and don't ever use them. If there's one thing I hate the most is Cortana.

bloated-start.png

2.Why not just use a debloater on a default windows 10 iso?

Even if you've debloated your windows 10, microsoft will reinstall some or the other crap with a security patch or force install updates in the background or for some reason the windows update breaks your pc and becomes unusable. Nobody wants to give off free performance to microsoft and let them spy, track and collect your data whether you have a low end pc like me or have a good gaming pc right? I mean who doesn't want privacy? You don't want your privacy to be intruded right?

3.What is Windows 10 LTSC?

The Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) is designed for Windows 10 devices and use cases where the key requirement is that functionality and features don’t change over time. In simple words, major features updates won't be updated on this version of windows so basically windows won't break that way. Since all the bloatware has been removed and made much lighter why not give it a try at least once! The worst part is that Microsoft hasn't disclosed much about this version of Windows since they won't people to use it and now they even regret making it lol.

4.A huge fps boost?

If you have a high end pc don't expect such a big fps boost. You'll be getting about the same fps. But don't forget about privacy as a high end pc gamers as that matters too. If you are a low end pc gamer it will at least stop the game from crashing before and give much more performance, latency, and be much less privacy intrusive compared to the windows stock iso. At the end of the day, its the hardware which matters the most. If you're not able to buy new hardware this would be the best thing to do.

5.Why use Windows 10 LTSC?

1. No preinstalled apps ( Candy Crush Saga, Onenote for Windows 10, Groove music etc )
2. No forced updates
3. No CORTANA
(READ MORE), Windows Store,
4. Extra performance and more stability
5. There won't be weird ads on your start menu and microsoft apps won't auto install.
6. Background apps won't run anymore since all preinstalled apps are removed.
7. The ISO is only 4.5gb compared to the Windows 10 stock ISO which is abt 6GB. ( Its bigger than Windows 10 LTSC 2019 as LTSC is now 21H2 with new stuff)

NOTE: Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise 2021 comes with Microsoft Edge but can be removed easily with:- CLICK HERE

6. FAQ

1.Will there be compatibility and hardware issues?
Answer:- Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise 2021 is now based on 21H2 which came a few days ago ( So most of the websites are outdated since they're talking Windows 10 LTSC 1809). Since Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise 2021 is based on 21H2 just like the normal version of Windows there will likely be any compatibility issues with hardware.

2. Is Windows 10 LTSC up-to-date?
Answer:- Feature updates are offered in new LTSC releases every 2–3 years instead of every 6 months. Since Windows 10 is ending support on October 14th 2025, there will atleast one feature update in 2023 or 2024 so it will almost be up-to-date just like regular Windows.

3.
When will Windows 10 LTSC be supported till and what are the differences between IoT and non-IoT?
LTSC comes in two versions IoT and non-IoT. Below are the differences written 🔽
non-IoTIoT
Lifecycle end date
Jan 12, 2027Jan 13, 2032
Generic key typeKMSRTM
Generic key embedded in the ISO fileM7XTQ-FN8P6-TTKYV-9D4CC-J462DQPM6N-7J2WJ-P88HH-P3YRH-YY74H
Activation methodKMSDigital License (HWID)
Languages available for ISO filesAll native languages available, such like en-gb, fr-fr, de-de, etc.Only en-us "English (United States)" is available.

Credits: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10LTSC/comments/qw1qrs/ltsc_2021_vs_iot_ltsc_2021_tips_on_installations

4. Should I go for IoT or non-IoT?
The above differences are pretty useless since non-IoT can be converted to IoT with the help of MAS 1.5 which is used to activate windows. So you'll still get end of life support till 2032 and HWID activation.

4. Do I need microsoft store?

Installing store kinda destroys the point of LTSC I guess? But a lot of gaming laptops need software like Lenovo Vantage, Asus Armoury Crate require UWP. Plus, since NVIDIA has stopped supporting legacy non-uwp drivers which didn't need the microsoft store means no more updates forcing you to use UWP nvidia drivers sadly :(
To install store, open cmd as admin and type the following code
Code:
WSReset -i&&TimeOut 20&&WSReset -i&&exit

6.Downloading Windows 10 LTSC

If you download the iso from the official website of Microsoft, the iso will have a 90 day trial and later will make the pc unusable. Microsoft doesn't provide the iso's to the public without the 90 day trial. Below are direct download links of the latest iso without the 90 day trial.
Code:
To avoid confusion I'll only link the non-IoT iso below since it can be convered to IoT with MAS

7.Activating Windows 10 LTSC

Since buying a legit key of Windows 10 LTSC is really expensive, we'll be using a Windows 10 Activator to activate Windows 10 LTSC for free!

Download the activator from here, extract the file > All-In-One-Version >
MAS_1.5_AIO_CRC32_21D20776.cmd

Nice article, well written and full of useful information. But,
According to the article, we should remove cortana , groove music and Microsoft apps. You once gave me FPS BOOST PACK that removed all ms apps and cortana, but there was no any performance gain on my 8th gen notebook by removing Microsoft apps, they might help old hardware..
Which is why in windows 11 only 8th gen and newer processors are supported. In windows 11 a new baseline is being drawn around the new hardware above 8th gen and driver model changed in feature updates of windows 10. 8th Gen Intel are the first to have hardware mitigations for Spectre/Meltdown whereas everything else is software fixes that hurt performance.

Completely makes sense dude. You're not gonna get such a big fps boost if you already have a beefy pc. I'll add it in the post

sir Microsoft apps does not relate to mitigations, the only thing that have relation it's Windows Update, which is something still exist on LTSC. And if you think that removing MS bloat doesn't gain any performance then buy an old 5400RPM/16mb cache HDD and throw out your SSD. Also don't bring those BS like security mitigations, it's not even related at all.

This is another BS, so far there's no documents said that Windows 11 support only 8th Gen above support because it have mitigations patch, in fact some 8th Gen CPUS still on the list of affected CPU, but it's not a big deal as Windows already provide patches for it, so does Linux. TPM is the reason so far that making Windows 11 requirement push to 8th Gen above, don't swap these 2 to make misunderstanding.
And "new driver model", I don't know if you even understand what is that shit.

@Skay Instead of sharing Evaluation version, maybe find a "DVD ISO" that's clean and share
For example, here is the collection that I use

Mitigations does not relate to microsoft apps,

I said it will gain performance on older hardware, but didnt gain any performance on my new laptop. I even made a new user account with ms bloat apps installed and tested.
TPM is the reason so far that making Windows 11 requirement push to 8th Gen above, don't swap these 2 to make misunderstanding.
But TPM is supported from haswell and newer Intel CPUs. 7th gen laptops also have TPM, There must be lot of reasons behind it or they want to sell their new hardware

And "new driver model", I don't know if you even understand what is that shit.
In windows vista, after windows vista released many old XP devices were not working in vista because of changes made to the driver model to prevent BsoD caused by old poorly coded XP drivers.

If you blame me that I didn't read properly then check your word in that sentence again because it can lead to huge misunderstanding

But TPM is supported from haswell and newer Intel CPUs. 7th gen laptops also have TPM, There must be lot of reasons behind it or they want to sell their new hardware
They do mentioning that they are checking 7th Gen

In windows vista, after windows vista released many old XP devices were not working in vista because of changes made to the driver model to prevent BsoD caused by old poorly coded XP drivers.
But that is Windows Vista, and that was the time they have news things like WDDM. This time it's a different story between Windows DCH Drivers (the new one) and Legacy drivers. Not to mention in graphic side Intel already provide DCH Drivers since 6th Gen CPU.
Read more about DCH Drivers and the support, it's not because "8th Gen above" shit at all.

the iso here isn't "pirated iso" tho, it just pull straight out from MSDN too, but idk how they did it.
The thing here is that I don't want to download Evaluation iso, since it just a waste of time to find a way to hack it. So I'd rather download from a trusted archive like this
