Headphones connected to the 3.5 mm jack on my laptop are not working. Bluetooth headphones do work but they also reconnect constantly. The headphones were working on kernel version lower than 5.x. But after I updated to the 5.1 kernel they are no longer working. I cant use the 4.9 kernel as they dont support my intel igpu.
These are from the alsa mixer. I tried the method that you had posted about saving the alsa state and then then restoring it and it isnt working as well.
This is when I am trying to restore the alsa state that I saved before I upgraded my kernel from 4.13 to 5.1. The sound was working in kernel 4.13 and when I saved and restored the alsa state file it was working but after I upgraded to the new kernel the sound through earphones is no longer working and the alsa file is not being restored as well.
