Now it should be clear that this is just a review for Windows 10 ltsc. I downloaded the preactivated iso already in this website by @scar link - https://supreme-gamers.com/t/windows-10-ltsc-the-best-windows-10-version-ever.845/ . Be sure to read to his blog too. After completing the updates which to be honest were very difficult to get. After installing windows from iso . I had to install an offline update to get my internet working . After that still my dialup network did not work . I had to connect to wifi and then check for updates . Then download with my dial up network . After all the updates my pc was up and running .
Review
It does not have microsoft store and onedrive . These are some things which i use daily but a google search helped me setup everything .
Performance
@HMTheBoy154 said these windows versions speeded up old hard drives and @Xtr did not find much difference in performance gain(he had some 8th gen intel cpu laptop). Even with my m.2 ssd apps took a second or two to launch in windows 10 or 11 but now it launches in a fraction of a second .
I havent tested many games but Gameloop runs fantastic fast. Even with my pc . i was able to get a 10fps boost playing pubgmobile at 1080p at smooth from 30 to 40fps .
Ram consumption is something that amuzes me more than anything else
I was able to run 10+ tabs in edge + Gameloop + Bluej(a java ide) + whatsapp running without my pc freezing or going out of ram . (84% ram usage)
No lag in launching apps .My pc feels much more snappy and fast than before .
If you have a low end pc and want to squeeze the most juice out of your pc you should just use windows 10 ltsc or windows 8.1 embedded.
As for people wandering why not use windows 8.1 embedded , my pc does not support it and according to @TakuruKagami it has some missing dlls and he has some good guides on how to add it.
