Help Octopus not loading default keymapper config

I really want to cry right now .
I installed Darkmatter a couple of times , redownloaded the iso 4.7beta-2 and 4.7 ahs (other versions fail to change mesa for some reason)
Everything was cool a year ago but then i deleted Dm and after a couple of months installed it again but everytime i run pubg m it fails to load the preconfigured octopus keymap.
It happened to once before but it was resolved by reinstalling the os .This time it does not do that although i select the option to that in gearlock . I also checked the video to fix which forum members said it worked for them but it doesnot work for me . Although the keymapper works flawlessly , you have to set it manually and it is a hassle and you cannot get the eye button function .

Add it manually meaning ?
Set the keymapper key manually while running the game or
Manually add keymap config for pubg through some files or something like that .
