If you want to install Grub2win, you can disable windows defender until the system is installed.

Legacy bios supported, i installed it.Come on discord and explain your problem.

it does not matter if it is Legacy or UEFI, the problem is,
1. if you link the _______ in the GRUB or GRUBDOS or "BCD(windows Bootmgr grub)"
- initrd.img ,
- kernel,
- ramdisk.img(it is use to supercharge the system and data into folder type mountpoint)
2. first boot setup
- grub
- windows

3. first device on boot
- WDCXXXXXXXXXX (hdd/ssd)
- cdrom
- PXE boot network Card

Thanks for this superb OS, but I have a few things I would like you to help me out or add to the OS if that isn't currently available. First, Netflix isn't working as advertized. Please add support for Netflix, HBO, Kodi, and similar software. Also, I'd like if apk ProgTV would work. I don't know why, but it isn't working. Second, add a fullscreen mode (no multiwindow), as PrimeOS has it. You have a greater compatibility with most apks, but it can be better. Everything else is SUPERB!!!

i am only getting 40 fps but other os i get 50 60 fps so not getting 60 fps plz help me

You need use another kernel, stock kernel have 40 FPS limit, if you dont know how to do it come on discord server

There is a version of Netflix that works on Bliss OS Pie/Q builds and maybe darkmatter: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netfl...x-7-64-0-build-19-34976-android-apk-download/ It does require the APKMirror Installer app to install.
Netflix considers this rooted OS as an "incompatible" device, according to their support articles. This version of Netflix seems to work great, as long as you don't update it. If it prompts you, click on "Cancel".

I'm having a couple of issues with Dark Matter. I'm trying to run it under a proxmox as a VM. It installs and I can bring the desktop up. In order to get networking to work, I have to change it's network card virtual hardware while it's up. Otherwise it never sees it as connected. I'll switch it from Realtek RTL8139m, Intel E1000 and VirtIO. Doesn't matter what I change it too, so long as I change it while the OS is up. Seems to wake up the Nic Second issue is the mouse and the actaully pointer on the screen never match up. Its sometime left right above and below it. As I move the mouse the distance can change. If I move the cursor to the edge I can get it lined up but as soon as I start moving it, they drift. Lastly, I installed a game and had it up and playing for a few days, the game itself ran great. After I week, I powered down the VM and tried powering it back up. Upon powering on it just hung at the DarkMatter loading screen.

Has anyone tried running Dark Matter as a VM? Under virtual box, VMWare or KVM (proxmox)?

Just a note, PrimeOS Mainline didn't have these two issues. However, primeOS wouldn't be able to play the games I like to play and also it would eventually go to sleep and crash. This Darkmatter is an improvement but still not usable for me. If anyone has any settings I can test please let me know. Thanks.

android in a vm isnt a good idea because the performance is bad and no proper drivers, games like pubg wont run on it[/QUOTE]

Everything worked smooth. But to gain some more fps, i tried 4.19 latest one by axom but that caused mic glitch in pubg. Reverting back to default kernel fixed it. Any solution for the mic on 4.19 cuz its performance is great

By Kernel do you mean the version of Dark Matter? I'm using "DarkMatter_Exo4.7_BETA-2". Another note with PrimeOS Mainline I can install with table mode on in Proxmox and maybe that's why the mouse is in sync. With DarkMatter if I leave that option on, the Installer fails. As for MIC, the game I'm using doesn't require the mic.

I tried to install under Virtual box, and the os installs, get's to installing all the apps like google pay , but never get's to the part where you would "alt F7" to switch to the GUI. The Screen just goes blank. Thanks

The game I'm playing isn't a first person shooter. It installs and runs great under this latest beta release of Dark Matter. The hard part is the mouse not being in sync. I have to move the cursor to the edge to try to get the actual mouse the android mouse aligned. Then as I move the mouse it drifts apart. The current version of android x86 and prime mainline doesn't do this. I tried installing Dark Matter and unchecking everything except google play and still this was not resolved. My display is set to VGA.
