I have to move the cursor to the edge to try to get the actual mouse the android mouse aligned. Then as I move the mouse it drifts apart. The current version of android x86 and prime mainline doesn't do this. I tried installing Dark Matter and unchecking everything except google play and still this was not resolved. My display is set to VGA.

Come to discord server and ask how to install kernel 4.9, virtual box has problems since darkmatter use kernel 4.14.

There are lot of 4.19 kernels

Just installed now and got it up and running.

Installation process was a breeze and I encountered no errors or issues. It booted up fine as well.

First impressions:
DarkMatter is sick AF! Sickest boot animations I've seen. I've never used Phoenix OS before but all I know is that's it's trash due to ads.

DarkMatter seems blazingly fast and snappy. Really well designed and really optimized. There hasn't been much lag at all in my first 30 minutes of usage.

The only feature I'm really hoping to see is installing this to a USB. I would love to have this setup on a Raspberry Pi and have it connected to my TV or even just to keep on my USB so I can use it on any PC when I need to.

Really nice work by the developers and I'm really liking the way this project is heading. I've spent more time searching online for a good Android OS than it took me to download and install this one :D I have to say, this one is definitely the best and I'm glad I went for this one over all the other ones out there.

Thank you guys for this update.

Beta 2 don't have these errors.

I had installed it and it is working fine.

But the problem i faced yesterday is that some apps and games are showing network connection error on login screen after loading normally

some sites are also affected by this issue.


Solution :- I had used vpn lastly and it worked..........

Hope you guys find a better solution.

Have anyone use this ISO loader for USB
You format an empty usb into a iso loader, and run multiple iso from usb directly by placing iso to usb without extracting it,

Ventoy

Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files. With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk again and again, you just need to copy the iso file to the USB drive and boot it.

Thank you so much for this guide. This seems really simple.

I'm going to test this out and hopefully get lucky as well 😁 This will be a massive convenience for me because I would be able to take my workspace with me and switch between laptop and PC.

1050ti works in darkmatter, use kernel 4.14. If you have laptop try passing this kernel parameter nouveau.modeset=1 i915.modeset=0
if above kernel parameter didnt work then try nouveau.modeset=1 i965.modeset=0
You can play, use kernel 4.9. But since it is a old laptop it wont give 60fps

40 fps is godlike according to me with a 3gb ram phone
